ABOUT UPTC

Unexplored Places Theatre Company is born from our passion for open-air theatre and our absolute wonder at the beautiful outdoor spaces which can be found nestling within and exposed throughout the North Devon landscape.

We love working with up-coming writers, directors, chorepgraphers and dramaturge and championing the voices of women.  We recently collaborated on a choreography project exploring period poverty and homeless women in Plymouth. More information on that amazing endeavour can be found here

We are also well-versed in Spoken-Word Poetry and Absurdist Theatre and our productions this year will be centred around the Pagan wheel of the year, bereavement and inclusion, a varied portfolio!

Nayomie is also collaborating with Paines Plough on her first full play script, as part of their mentored writers programme.

UPCOMING WORKSHOP & SHOW

This will be a reworking of Unexplored Theatre Co's first devised piece of story-telling: a one-woman show celebrating the female voice and the endless dimensions of a single character.  We will be performing with The Parracombe Arts & Literary Festival, alongside a poetry workshop offering on the day and Q&A with writer.

Saturday 17th May ~ 7.30pm
